:: STUDIO SERIES : BRYCE DALLAS + HANDSOME ::

Bryce Dallas is an artist based in Dallas, TX. The first time I saw Bryce he was switch carving the deep end of a backyard pool on a flat fat pig of a skateboard. You can find his artwork on numerous amazing posters and t-shirts as well as bodies everywhere. If you want him to poke you, find him at Death or Glory Tattoo.

Bryce chose the COKER shape on which to do his work and showed absolutely no respect for my fine penmanship on the top sheet. This thing is great (the knuckles read 'SOME HAND'). Acrylic, oil, & watercolor on deep green bottom sheet, ditto on the top sheet with custom STUDIO brand. 7-ply North American maple, pressed in these United States.

------------

HANDSOME's Studio Series collaborative decks feature art from talented friends. The artwork on each is one-of-a-kind, done the old fashioned way, on a hand-shaped HANDSOME deck with a unique logo and detailing.

Each Studio Series deck ships with a museum quality hanging bracket to make it look pretty on your wall, but we encourage you to skate it even though it may not be the best financial decision.

: TOM FORGET + HANDSOME :

Tom Forget is back for another collaboration with HANDSOME as part of the Sugartown series of STUDIO decks. The postal service delivered to him our METAL shape with a deep purple dye bottom sheet with silver and gold splatter stripes.  Tom sent back this celestial beauty.

: DAN METH + HANDSOME :

Dan Meth is an animator, cartoonist, illustrator, and the list goes on. Never without a sketchbook, he is as prolific and creative a man as you're likely to encounter.  Dan is the creator of a ridiculous amount of web cartoons, animations, and series that have been seen by tens of millions (seriously) including The Meth Minute & Nite Fite.  You've probably seen his Pop Culture Charts & can see his work regularly on College Humor among many other places too numerous to list.  When I first met Dan I thought he was shifty, turns out he was just quietly absorbing the world around him so it could be pushed out through his strange filter.

Dan's collaboration with HANDSOME is another in the SUGARTOWN series of STUDIO decks. Working on the ANGLE cruiser shape, a totem of odd characters from Dan's universe tumble out. Hand-painted acrylic bottom sheet.  Ink and acrylic logo with custom 'SUGARTOWN' brand over bright green dyed top sheet.  7 ply North American maple, pressed in the USA.

: TOM FORGET + HANDSOME :

I'm excited to release HANDSOME's first in a series of collaborative decks featuring art from some talented friends. The artwork on each is one-of-a-kind, done the old fashioned way, on a hand-shaped HANDSOME deck with a unique logo.  Artist decks ship with a museum quality deck display bracket though we'd love it if you set it aside and put the deck into service.

Tom Forget is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY and my brother 'till death.  Tom skated poorly until all of his friends got driver's licenses. Now he likes to draw the types of things that the skaters in his Rhode Island neighborhood would have had on their metal t-shirts in 1988. His illustrations, design, writings, and reviews have been found in places like BUST Magazine, Esquire.com, Movies.com, Sunday Bikes, and FEEDING GROUND (Archaia Comics).

Tom chose, aptly, our METAL shape on which to do his work. Acrylic and ink over amber dyed bottom sheet.  Ink and acrylic logo and detailing on black top sheet. 7-ply North American Maple, pressed in the USA, as always. Find it in the STORE >>>>
